Sarcococca confusa 2L
Commonly called ‘Christmas Box’. A dense evergreen shrub which gives unparalleled winter fragrance. Clusters of small white flowers appear in mid-winter followed by small, glossy, black fruits. The tiny, oval leaves are glossy & dark green.Prefers moist but well-drained, fertile soil, in semi or full shade in a sheltered site. Height & Spread - 90 cm (3 ft)
Sarcococca hookeriana humilis 2L
A form of ‘Christmas box’. A dwarf, densely-branched, evergreen shrub that suckers well to provide good ground-cover. The shining, glossy-green leaves provide a good backing to the small, fragrant flowers which are followed by black berries. Grow in moist but well-drained, fertile soil, in full or part-shade. Height & Spread - 0.6 x 1.2 m in 5 years (2 x 4 ft).
